page keeps reloading over and over? [FIXED]

is anyone else having a problem where the site keeps reloading over and over and over and over when first accessed? If I get a chance to click any forum it stops, but wtf?

Clean under your F5 button.

Im pretty sure its not the F5 button, because it doesnt do it except on the page that lists all the forums. Its doesnt do it if I quickly click a forum and go into it.

Well at first it started like this,

The weaponscache logo on the top right was super huge! it wouldnt shrink down till after acouple minutes. Then this reloading thing started like two three days ago?

I just cleared my cookies and internet files and still no go. None of the other forums I go to does it.

Might have been the superhackercode that I installed in the pic I sent Matt for the logo.

In all seriousness, I have no idea. Is this still continuing? Have you restarted your comp? Tried another browser?

Firefox doesnt do it, just internet explorer, and yes it is still doing it. hella annoying.

Ill try restarting the comp next.

weird. I'm looking it now. Just tried IE and sure enough it is reloading. Doesn't do it for FF, Chrome, Safari, or others....just IE. I haven't made any changes to the site in the past 2 or 3 days I'll let you know when it's fixed. In the meantime, use a real mans browser like firefox

OK, found the issue. I had a javascript file declared in the head but was not actually using the functionality within the content. ALL other browsers are smart enough to ignore the script because it never gets called, but IE freaked out expecting it to be called and just kept reloading hoping the HTML would magically change to include a call to the script. Stupid IE.

While I was at it, I noticed it shows a "error on page" message at the bottom left. The exact error is

JAJAJA! I found an error!!

What error? If you actually found one I'd like to know!!!

I spent some time digging into it and it took a little time to fix the "error" that wasn't actually an error. Now IE no longer complains about non-existent "errors".
