The Smith mate....... Seen a lot of people shooting .22's at the range and the only 2 I see people having 0 problems with are the Rugers and the Smiths. And then I let 'em try the Taurus 1911 with the Kimber conversion and they lose all control

Well, I'm not sure if I already posted this, but the guy who I look to for advice most regarding guns (because he also shoots the best at our club, a consistent 520 or so at minimum) loaned the wife his 22A. He said he highly recommends it. Mind you... this guy has more than 10 High Standards, the Smith 41, and just about everything else you can imagine. So the wife is probably going to decide on the 22A tomorrow night at my club's fun shoot. We'll see. I've got my fingers crossed.

We, my wife and I had a S&W 22a super nice gun, problem was we dont do any compettive shooting, but we both got good enough with it it got boring, may I suggest a small 9mm like a Taurus 709, or Ruger SR-9 both nice compact weapons with low recoil
