Default Stupid question threaded inserts for grips

I think I know the answer to this already but I figured I would see what others would do.

I was taking the scales off of the Rock island to put on some that I had. one of the screws came up with the insert that screws into the frame. Had to break the scale in order to get the insert out and put the insert back in with red loctite. Now .. would you

leave the rest of them as is
or
take out the remaining ones and put loctite now even though they were not a problem

I have broken more stuff "fixing" non existent problems but ..

Ha! Leave them alone. They're generally staked in. Brownells sells replacement bushings and the tool to stake them in.

I wouldn't force anything. If they're staked, you can damage the threads. Then you get to buy oversized bushings and a tap.

Unless they are broke dont fix them. they are staked and when you screw them up, you can buy a tap over size inserts and really mess them up.
